Webster Animal Shelter

League City Animal Care is here to help the community and give each animal that enters our doors a safe and loving home. In Galveston County, we are the only municipal no-kill shelter.

The Animal Control Division is in charge of enforcing the Animal Code, which includes the management of dangerous or aggressive animals, the impoundment of stray animals, the provision of humane animal traps for resident use, the transfer of caught animals, and rabies monitoring and control.

We advocate for and defend the welfare, safety, and health of both people and animals. We hope for a time when animals are cherished and independent of human care.

Through adoption, transportation, and spay and neuter services, Three Little Pitties Rescue, a nonprofit dog and cat rescue, helps animals find permanent, safe, and loving homes.

Public Works shares a building with the Seabrook Animal Shelter and Adoption Center at 1100 Red Bluff Road.
