Our goal is to construct a brand-new refuge for mistreated, abandoned, unwanted, and homeless animals in Yolo County.

The sole open admission shelter in Muskegon County is called Pound Buddies. This means that regardless of age, breed, temperament, or state of health, we take all dogs that have been misplaced, abandoned, mistreated, or neglected.

We are a no-kill animal shelter that is non-profit. We are committed to offering abused, unwanted, and relinquished pets compassionate care. While they wait to be matched with loving forever homes, the animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all necessary veterinary care, and are treated with respect and affection.

We are a no-kill shelter and a 401(c)3 non-profit organization. All of our energy comes from volunteers. We support all cat breeds and are one of the few shelters that accepts FIV+ cats.

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization called Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven, which serves the West Michigan Lakeshore Counties, is committed to saving, rehoming, and offering options for spaying and neutering cats and kittens.
