Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue

At the Hukari Animal Shelter, we give all dogs the best possible care while they are boarding. In order to decrease euthanasia, we offer adoption support services for Gorge pets in need of a permanent home. We also serve as a resource for neighborhood dog owners.

The At Last Humane Society bears a significant obligation to assist, heal, and shelter animals in Wasco and the adjacent counties.

Fur Footed is stepping up to help home and re-home stray and abandoned cats, dogs, and pets in need in and around the Columbia River Gorge area.

Oregon Animal Rescue (OAR), a 501c3 non-profit organization established in Boring, Oregon, provides food, medical treatment, and shelter to unwanted, injured, and abandoned animals until they can be put in permanent homes.

The only public animal shelter and control facility in the county is Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS). The goal of MCAS is to safeguard the welfare, health, and safety of humans and their pets in Multnomah County.
