Mellow Mushroom's founders opened their first restaurant because they saw pizza baking as an art form and wanted to share it with others. Mellow Mushroom on Providence Main Street NW has ten pet-friendly tables outside where you can enjoy a specialty pie, calzone, hoagie, or salad with Fido. The Holy Shiitake Pie, an olive oil and garlic base, shiitake, button, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and Mont Amore, finished with a garlic aioli swirl and a spritz of black truffle oil, is one of their most popular pies.
