Alison and Andy, reptile enthusiasts, founded Curious Creatures LLC.
While Alison was attracted by snakes as a child, Andy was a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When they met and eventually moved in together, their love for reptiles grew stronger. Andy and Alison struggled to locate consistent feeders and supplies in Chicago as their snake, lizard, and turtle collection grew.
