Animal Heart Talk

My best pals were the land, the plants, and the farm animals, from the rolling green hills of my Irish Grandparent's dairy farm in Washington to the vast wide expanses of my German Grandparent's farm in Iowa. I was born with hiking boots and a backpack, traversing the highlands and island hopping the San Juan Islands by boat. My childhood jacket pockets were brimming with gems, feathers, leaves, and even miniature newborn trees! Caterpillars, tadpoles, chipmunks, birds, bunnies, dogs, cats, and even deer were among the critters I brought home to care for!
