Compassionate treatment at Integrative Veterinary Care entails serving as animal advocates in a pet-friendly setting. As animal advocates, it is our responsibility to give medical and lifestyle suggestions that are appropriate for each particular pet's requirements. We strive to put animals at ease using vocal signals and body language, and we advocate "better living via chemistry" (enough sedation) for our patients when we suspect a procedure, such as obtaining an x-ray, would be too upsetting for them otherwise. We'd much rather be the "delicious treat givers" than the "terrible shot people."
