She serves on the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association's Research Committee, the American Canadian College of Animal Chiropractic's examination and certification commission, the American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine's advisory board, and numerous educational committees at the University of Florida. She has produced articles on pain management for the BSAVA handbook of Veterinary Anesthesiology, including Equine Analgesia (a chapter in an Equine Surgery veterinary textbook) and Ancillary and Alternative Pain Management for Small Animals.
