Artaurus Equine Clinic

Artaurus has always worked to deliver excellent medical treatment and services to our equine patients, as well as exceptional personal service to their owners, sponsors, and trainers, since its founding in 1972 by founder Dr. James Steere. Dr. Robert Steere joined his father's clinic in 1995 after graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and receiving the Lloyd's of London award for most meritorious equine student. He had previously worked in a busy ambulatory practice in Southern California. Dr. Robert purchased his father's firm in 2000, and in 2007, he built a new facility on Skillman Lane in Petaluma.
