Desert Animal Companions is a database of individuals and organizations on the Navajo Nation who are striving to improve the lives of humans and their pets. The main goal of this website is to raise awareness, connect people who want to help with people who can help, facilitate networking and collaboration among concerned individuals and groups, and, in the end, relieve suffering and improve the lives of companion animals on the Navajo Nation and the people who care about them.
